Strains known as Hybrids show traits directly related to the genetics in its parental lineage. The great result of a Hybrid strains is to get the benefits of both Indica and Sativa stains together. Hybrids have 3 basic categories depending on the phenotype. A phenotype example would best be explained by two parents (one being and Indica and the other a Sativa) having three kids. One looks more like the father. The seconds looks more like the mother. And the third looks like both. Basically Hybrids can be broken down into three categories: Indica dominant, Sativa dominant and 50/50.

Indica Dominant

Indica dominant strains provide full-body pain relief with a relaxing effect. Usually recommended for nighttime to sleep, relax and relieve pain. Also, great for heavy pain, tremors and anxiety in daytime.

Sativa Dominant

Sativa dominant strains offer a cerebral (head) high with a relaxing body effect. Mental stimulation with physical relief.

50/50

50/50 Hybrids are a balance of both head and body effect. A great choice to get the benefits of both Indica and Sativa in one strain.
